Okay I am tryin to maintain my sanity and keep everyone upbeat and happy with the "Offical" humorus threads, but I gotta tell ya this waiting game is getting a bit tiresome.

I would ask the grant gurus; Kurt, Brian & Alana if they have heard any news from their sources inside the iron curtain as to when the funds will start moving again.

Now I am all about those happy Alpha wave, peace/love/ & harmony, up with people kinda thoughts but this is killin me

Why is it taking so long this year, and it was so quick the past years. With the excuses we hear, did they not have to do the same things in the past (government wise)???

Round 2 will come on the 20th. The Fiscal year changeover happens every year, but timing was bad this year and interrupted the awarding of AFG. SAFER went through because these awards were approved before Sept 30th. Only Round 1 AFG was approved by then, so R2-4 had to wait until after the changeover. The fiscal change has happened every year but the approval of the awards prior to those 2 weeks kept any skipping from happening. Should be a short trip down the hill to get everything out the door now.

Sorry, meant the 27th. Settlement on the current casa is Nov 6th, and I've been packing like crazy to get things moved over to mom-in-law's and in storage, so needless to say I barely know what day it is let alone date. I'd better not get in a wreck, I wouldn't be A0x3 by any stretch.

Then again for purposely moving in with mom-in-law they may mark me as a psych patient.

If (I have to say if since no one knows anything anymore for sure) they are going to announce Round 2 on Friday then the Congressional offices will receive the lists on Wednesday and the phone calls will start. That's the only advanced warning we have, otherwise it's just a wait and see if they're posted on Fridays.
