Does anyone know if they did all the vehicle awards in the first round?... we haven't got anything yet.....

I thought I remember someone saying they usually give out those awards first round...

If they did, it is still too early, there has not been a first round yet.

The vast majority of the vehicle awards will probably be given out over the first few rounds (like last year). but some will still be awarded in later rounds.

1199A's and the q's are still being sent out for what appears to be a large award announcement for the 1st round.

If you haven't recieved anything yet, don't panic it's early in the process.

I think I'm going to skip panic and just proceed to disappointment in order to avoid the Dear John Day rush.

                hope

My dept. got our 1199a and 10 q's, it was our 4th (yes 4) try for a
pumper/tanker. We felt this to be our highest priority. Get copies of anyone
near you early for preparing for the next year for whatever the project, they
can be of great insight and importance. Hoping you all get your needs met.

                  I got our questions yesterday.

this vehicle grant looks a little more complicated than the equipment.
I hope you guys are up to the task of helping those of us who need it. LOL

                            Truck grant question

I have applied for a Vehicle grant and did get the 1199a and 10 Q's. In my narrative I asked for a chev 2500hd cab and chassis. Is it possible to call and get a different cab and chassis approved as long as you get the same type of truck? Just wondering.

Yes, something 3/4 ton or larger if you can find one. As long as it's in the same model size of truck, so you can't drop to a 1/2 ton chassis. But if you could get a 1 ton or larger, or even a 3/4 ton crew cab.
