I just logged in to our application as I do several times per day to check if the 1199 link has appeared. This time, the far right column has a drop down box instead of the usual links -- has anyone else noticed this?
I just checked our status page as well and found the drop box there when looking for the 1199a link. We are still awaiting the questions and notification award if it is coming.
New drop down box may have its reasons, but admit it when you saw something 'different' on the page, did ya have a little rush of expectation (of 1199a) or anxiety ('dear john'). If its an improvement all well and good, but the timing..........
(should now be CharlieRFD,past,Pres.), but I've had this screen name for so long, I'm keeping it..., besides I'm Deputy Chief now.

Judging by the other forum postings, the 5000 that didn't make it to peer review have their Dear Johns in hand. Everyone else that is still waiting, this means that your application made it to peer review. Guess what now? More WAITING!
But at least there's still light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully it's not a train.

Has there been any word from usfa/fema how the 1199 link will show up now, any change in that?

We also had the 1199 in the drop down box on Monday morning. Went through and filled out and sent in. Hope that this is not just a generic function of the drop down box. No questions yet from FEMA.
I hope that this is a good indicator of recieving a grant.
Sounds like congratulations are in order redtrucks and ccmfcchief, now excuse me while I run and check mine. Good luck to all still waiting and hoping.

Ditto for us on the drop down menu with the 1199a selection. We took it to the bank and got the needed signatures taken care of; mailed it off priority mail. We'll see. Any info from recent grant winners or anyone in the know about this would be appreciated.
1199A is the first "pre-notification". It's in quotes because FEMA won't admit that it's the first step in receiving a grant. They're still working on what the definition of "is" is. Thanks Bill C.
Anywho, I'll second Charlie's round of congrats. Within a couple of weeks y'all are going to need to figure out how to spend some money. Better start working on those Purchase Orders.

Thanks for the reply. I don't know how long the link has even been there, as we have not been checking the site/app regularly. We are trying not to be too excited, but you never know.
If I understand all of you, the link for the 1199A is now appearing in the drop down box. We still haven't received the link or any kind of email, etc. from FEMA, but my hopes are still up. I guess there's nothing else to do but keep waiting.
