Got the call from our Congressman today, we got the 53,000. for SCBA, TIC, Hose etc.... Took me three years but it was worth the wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, we did not get a call from our Senator, but got the news on Firehouse.com last night and an email from FEMA this morning with our grant package! $66,320 for new turn out and other equipment. Three years of hard work finally paid off. This coupled with the fact our Village just approved to purchase a fire truck has us headed in the right direction. Thank you to all of you on hear for the great discussion and ideas, alot of what I learned through these posts helped me with the writing ouf our grant!
