At most 25% of the available funds after admin costs can be given to vehicles, which will be around $190 million. So far $28,066,487 has been given out, so there's a long way to go.

BC79er posted this in another thread. So far 245 awards have been given on vehicles, totalling $28,066,487. Average vehicle award so far has been $114,557, meaning the average vehicle purchased is running around $127,000 (based on a 90/10 split). Darn practical apparatus bought so far, I'd say; you can hardly get any new apparatus for less than that.
No more than 25% of the total funds can go toward vehicles, so 25% of $750,000,000 is around $190,000,000.
This means no more than about $161,933,513 can go toward grants hereafter. Based on the current average, we can expect to see about another 1,275 grants for vehicles.
And before anyone else interjects, I realize that is a whole lot of extrapolation, and that it omits the 70/30 grants for paid/combo FD's. But we're in the ballpark here.
