Our local radio station just announced that we received our grant!!!!
I am the contact person on the application and haven't received an official notification yet.....but, a quick call to the radio station informed me that they got a fax from one of our state senators yesterday afternoon.

I received the "6 question" email on the 9th and another email concerning direct deposit info on the 10th.

Our chief actually got contacted of the award by the local newspaper. We had no idea we had gotten it until he received a call. Seems as if our state senators sent out a press release to our newspaper. We got the call from the newspaper Thursday and we received the award email Thursday evening. It was front page news in today's paper.

We got $55,791 for gear and airpacks.
