Nice looking truck but it looks like a pumper. A tanker with only 500 gallons of water. That is a first for me. Did you get a 1250 GPM pump with some of the discharges capped off to comply with AFG’s pump size limitations on tankers?

DFD, it is a pumper. A type 3 engine only needs a 120gpm pump and 500 gals of H2O, only other major items it needs for this class is 1000ft of 1.5" and 800ft of 1" on board. At least according to NIMS resource typing that is all it needs.
I'm sure your are only picking on him, but just want to be sure.

Yea my bad. Sorry about that. I was on the wrong thread. Thought he called it his new tanker. That is what happens when you don’t get any sleep in a couple of days, you make mistakes. But at least I have a bed to sleep in. A lot of Alabama’s don’t even have that left after the storms.
        Have a good day.

          2010 AFG Ladder Truck

Here's a photo of our new Ladder Truck from our 2010 AFG Grant. It is a 2009 Rosebauer 75' Quint purchased through Yankee Fire & Rescue of Palmer, MA.

Nice truck, I believe that is the truck I saw when I was at the Rosenbauer plant about a month ago. We should get our new pumper in late November-early December.

It probably was. It was just delivered to us on Tuesday. If you look joshp707's photo's it's just behind their truck!

For a small village we were very pleased to be awarded this 2100g with 1000gpm pump. Complete with quick dump and enough money left to fill in some needed extras...

I missed that you got an AFG for new pumper. Talk about stepping up. An E-One custom! A great deal.
