    Where do we stand?

As the AFG awards wind down vehicle funding has shifted towards Ops grants. Any remaininng funds in vehicles will most likely revert to more Ops funding. We will see very few if any future vehicle awards. This is no surprise as the 25% is the max. allowed for vehicles not a guarantee that the AFG meet that requirement. This occurred last year as well.

Congrats to all of those that were awarded this year.

I don't know if one person is writing the all of the afg grants for Sevier County TN but I think every department in that County got an award this year. I know the person at Pigeon Forge FD racks up every year.

PFFD has had 2 students in my classes and I have another student won a tanker there this year for a smaller department.Pretty sure bc79er has helped PFFD also.

If I remember right, Pigeon Forge won a Station Construction Grant, too.
