    Wow!

I, and a lot of other interested parties, would like to know more about why and how your town's operations have been this successful.

I know it's not an actual barometer of your community's financial status, since it is one issue. But with record numbers of towns and cities elected leadership sweating out their operational budgets, it does spark some interest about your area. Interesting yes.

no doubt, would love to hear more. my fd scrapes by on the average $700 per month of tobacco tax that we get from our county. thats the only income we get from county. usually we receive about $1200 once a year from the state of alabama, but thats it. i couldnt imagine a yearly budget of $90k, much less 165K

            OOOOH, who bombed Pearl Harbor?
I think Alabama was being bombed last night. The town of Cuba was hit pretty hard. Hope my friend Cuba Chief and his family is ok this morning. We must be living right here in our county because everything just went over and around us.
            Thank you God.

Kurt I am not that old but I do remember this being our first out engine. It’s a 1947 Chevy 500 GPM B.A. pump with a 300 gallon tank powered by a 292 six cylinder. We still have the truck but it is retired for the slightly newer models that have all the fancy lights and other toys.

Jim, John well heck; at least I still have enough functioning brain cells to remember it was a Belushi in Animal House. Just had to go and remind me that I have had another senior moment, didn't ya? Now you will have to excuse me the"Dean's wife" is waiting upstairs and my grandchildren and I must finish this " Food Fight"! LOL!

Wasn't a statement of age dfd701; Lord knows at 58 I am surprised I can remember going to see it either. Wasn't sure if the Animal House film would have been in that body of film art that would have drawn you in. LOL!

Wow! Voted greatest comedy movie of all time.

                            I recognized it immediately.

And I thought that Outdoor World/Bass Pro shop anchoring a "factory outlet shopping mall" was marketing genius. You remember that one in Orlando there on I-Drive don't you bc79er?
