Grant help...Extractors

We are from a small city with a limited budget. We have had several staph and one MRSA incident at our department. We are looking for ways to put in an extractor and dryer in our station. Are there any grants or other ways to help pay for this equipment. Any ideas other than the Fire Act Grant? Thank you for any assistance you may be able to offer.

Washer/ Extractor

The AFG grants are the way to go. My dept recived one in 2010 and made our turnaround time less than 2 hours when washing turnouts. It's a safer way to go than just thinking happy thoughts and wishing no bad stuff will get on your gear. Put out a request from the good people of the Forums and the sky will open up with folks who have recived washer/extractor/dryers with AFG grants.
