Just received a phone call from the good Senator for my former depts AFG. Round #1, for Equipment and Vehicle...

Sly... I don't have anything showing in the awards section as of this moment, so I can't confirm Friday. I was just advised Round #1, but no date.

I have to check with the other Depts I assisted and see if any got the call.

The Ball is rolling now guys...............

Word from an AFG rep is that there are a lot of bumps with working with the new IT system, and there will not be any new movement past what has happened until 2011, apart from the people being awarded and having their 10Qs

Talked to a rep from Senator Stabenows office a few minutes ago, was told that a vote to authorize the release of funds probably won't happen until some time in January. Although she said that she did receive an e-mail with round one awards on it. We weren't on it. I think that this is going to be another interesting year.
I wonder if those that do get award notifications, will also have a "IOU" in it.

Congrats to all that will be awarded on Friday. Looks like no vehicles in the first round just ops.

Congrats first round winners. Did anyone get the 10Qs or 1199 notification prior to the Congressional call? Seems the whole process this year is a little disjointed.

1199A's and 10Qs always preceed Congressional notifications.

Have to have that administrative stuff in order before awards can be made.

Check emails. award letters are in mail boaxes for those lucky enough to be in first round.
