    On August 20th, 2003, Inmate Fire Fighter Edward BUTI, 54 yoa died in the Line-of-Duty.

    Inmate Fire Fighter BUTI was hiking on a wild land fire trail and died, unknown exact cause. This occurred near Elk City, ID.

    He has less than a year in the fire fighting position.

    On August 24th, 2003, eight (8) Fire Fighters died in the Line of Duty.

    The eight Brother Fire Fighters were returning from fighting a wild land fire near South Fork, Idaho. They were all in one van in Roseburg, OR when they were involved in a MV crash with a TT. Their van exploded killing all eight Brothers.

    The eight Brothers are:
