    LOS ANGELES, CA:
    GREATER ALARM STRUCTURE FIRE


    On Wednesday July 30, 2003 at 1632 hours, nine companies of Firefighters, two Chief Officer Command Teams under the direction of Battalion Commander Joseph Klein responded to a greater alarm structure fire at 4014 N. Figueroa Street in the Lincoln Heights area. First units on scene reported a one-story 30’ x 150’ tire shop well involved with fire. Firefighters using handlines confined the fire to “Guanajuato New and Used Tires” and extinguished the fire in twenty-four minutes. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is accidental/undetermined and the loss is estimated at $210,000. ($150,000 to structure and $60,000 to contents).
