  • Identifying Fire/Rescue News Locations

    Webteam,

When you post stories in the "Fire/Rescue News" section, could you identify the locations better? there are two stories today (here) and (here) that don't identify the town or department they are talking about. If you read the stories the way they are presented, all they really say is that some firefighter, somewhere, got hurt at a fire and some fire dept., somewhere, is moving into trailers. I notice this happens a lot. Is there a way to include what city or town is being referred to?

    Thanks.

I second that idea. Many times, the "dateline" gives a newspaper or television name only, and not the city of origin. For example, showing a story from the "Courier Journal" will not tell anyone that the Courier is the daily newspaper of Louisville, KY.
