Fire Damages Auto Body Garage
May. 2, 2005
SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (AP) -- Fire officials are trying to figure out the cause of a fire this morning at a South Salt Lake business.

The blaze broke out about four a-m at the Eagle Auto Body and Paint. The shop works on classic cars.

Fire officials said combustible materials, such as gas tanks, forced fire crews to fight the fire from the air rather than inside the building.

It took crews about two hours to put out the fire.

No one was hurt in the blaze. Fire officials say a man sleeping inside the business when the fire started managed to escape.

Fire officials say the blaze caused around 250-thousand dollars in damage.
