Accident With Entrapment

At 2058 hrs Companies 1, 3 & 4 were dispatched to State Rt.130 @ the Spring Hill Bridge for a single vehicle accident with entrapment. Medic 18 arrived on scene reporting one pickup on a hillside into a telephone pole occupied by a male trauma patient. Rescue 4 arrived on scene, stabilized the truck with cribbing and air shores before proceeding to remove the roof of the pickup with "O" Cutters and Air Chisels. The patient was extricated within 20 minutes and transported by M18 to a Pittsburgh Trauma center.
