OVIEDO, Fla. (AP) - Four young sisters died Friday when their
house erupted in flames, but their parents and a brother escaped
with injuries, according to broadcast reports.
The dead girls were 10, 2 and 5-year-old twins, according to
WKMG-TV.
The house in this Orlando suburb was engulfed in flames when the
fire was noticed by a passing motorist at about 6:15 a.m.,
according to the station. Firefighters arrived within five minutes,
but were unable to save the children.
An employee at the city fire department said officials were not
immediately available for comment.
