I think it pays more than any Dept. in Maury County. It's a young Dept. They went from being all vollie to Full Time Career. Lot of good guys up there. I can't remember how many stations they got now. I want to say two. I know they were building a second one, it should be done by now. I don't know if EMT is required there or not, most of the guys I know up there are EMT's, I know there are some Spring Hill guys on this board, they can give you more information.FOR HE WHO SERVES HIS FELLOWS IS OF ALL HIS FELLOWS GREATEST

I remember when the department was actually based at the gas station in town, where the Chief owned the station. He had a fire phone sitting in the station.
Columbia used to come up there a lot mutual aid.
Saturn changed a lot up there.
Any of the Spring Hill guys on back when George Jones
house burned down? Not the singer, the Mayor.

And it's a beautiful part of the world, too.
Missing the hills and rivers of Middle Tennessee, but I've got a fine view of Arkansas, Missourri, and Kentucky from here.ullrichk

I love working for Spring Hill. We due require EMT-IV and FF I. We have two stations, building the third. Currently we run two engine companies and a heavy rescue company. We are getting our first ladder in December. We are (I think) the second highest starting pay in Middle Tennessee. If anyone has any questions just shout at me.
