It's not a mass. It is a service. ALL ARE WELCOME. 1pm on the 10th

On Sunday, September 10, 2006, from 1400-1600 hours, a Memorial Service will be held at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, located on 5th Avenue between 50th and 51st Streets, to commemorate the 5th Anniversary of the World Trade Center attacks. The 343 families have priority seating inside the Cathedral. Additional seating may become available inside the Cathedral. 50th and 51st Streets will be closed between Madison and Fifth Avenues, for the placement of large-screen Jumbotrons which will simulcast the ceremony from inside the Cathedral for the FDNY membership. The FDNY will provide bus transportation to the Cathedral for 9/11 family members who wish to utilize this service. Firehouses with plans to secure private buses to transport their off-duty members to the Memorial Service will have a drop-off location directly behind St. Patrick’s Cathedral. These buses will have parking available nearby. We request members attend in dress uniform as a mark of respect to our fallen members and their families.
