Well, there's nothing to compare with Group 2 retirement of municipal fire service employment, so I will advocate wholeheartedly the fire/ems route. It's really too bad you weren't up here earlier in the month for the state test for eligibility. Your name & credentials would have been sent to every service in the state. My recommendation would be to move up here to a nice city or town centrally located in the state (Concord is a great area), and look into private EMS for now. Rockingham Regional Ambulance is the 911 provider for Nashua & Manchester, and they run a transport service of all EMT-Basics which is a great foot in the door for you if you ever go higher in EMS and want to work 911. In the meantime, getting yourself familiar with the fire service in NH and learning what the area can offer you, will probably be your biggest asset. Some links for you:

hi i am a rhode island vol firefighter and paid full time emt i am intersted in moving to new hampshire i was wondering if anyone could help me i am interested in working in either fire or ems full time it does not matter which if anyone could suggest a few places to start looking even private or hospital based ems systems that would be greatTags: None
