does anyone know of any upcomming BTLS courses in the St. Louis/surrouding areas?

On the subject, any other similar ems related courses you all know of in the area?

    Thanks!

Contact SCCAD (St. Charles County) they put on a ton of classes all year long. They will put you on their mailing list, they might have a web-site as well.

Try St. Johns in Springfield that is where I got my paramedic, it was great. Also contact local FD's alot of smaller departments offer EMT-B once a year.

MSSU in Joplin, I took my EMT and Medic classes there in the early 90's. I'm sure they offer some EMS programs, or contact Newton County EMS or METS in Joplin.

That could be fun. I'm assuming you don't work for one of the EMS agencies (Freeman in Mac county or NCAD in Newton)? If you work for one of the FDs, the ambulance might help you out. It's hard to find the CEUs without taking a refresher (usually Crowder does one with their EMT class, get with NCAD and they can put you in touch with the instructor). Most of my guys that don't work EMS get theirs online and some through MUFRTI (rescue classes).

Hey guys, I work at St Johns in Springfield. Contact the EMS HQ @ 417-820-5454 and they can fill you in on the upcoming classes. I am slated for the ITLS (BTLS) class this weekend. I got my EMT from there and highly recommend their education programs.

BTLS changed it's name to ITLS (I for international) and now the ITLS chapters has to use it.
