Davis County Deputy LODD
One of Davis County's finest was killed in the Line of Duty late Friday evening when he was hit and killed by a Wapello County reserve Deputy in active persuit of a suspect. Deputy Dennis McElderry, badge # 26-3, had deployed road spikes to stop the suspect, and was struck. Badge 26-3 will be retired in Deputy McElderry's honor. Rest in Peace, friend.
