I know this is really off topic, but I'm frustrated right now....

The question is: Stick with Grossman or put in Griese?

    Grossman deserves some bench time.

Grossman has had two decent games in the last six.
If the Bears want to make the playoffs and advance, they have to get some consistency in their offense.
I felt bad for the defense today. They left it on the field.
There are times when Grossman looks like he's never picked up a football. His mishandles from center(who is an All-Pro), are inexcusable.
I'm not a big fan of Griese, because I don't think he ever played up to his potential.
But, at this point, Chicago needs to make a change at QB.
And in the off season, for the love of all that is holy, spend some money for a premier quarterback.

        Gotta love Chicago Sports

Let me preface this by saying that I believe that he needs some sense knocked in him. Fumbling from a center like that, near the goal line. The defense can only carry you so far, and they better get their act together.

But, I love the mood swings in Chicago sports. You can win and win, but lose, or one mistake, and people are getting out the tar, feathers, and rail.

            I think stick with Grossman.

I don't blame it all on grossman, but also some on the offensive play calling. I don't know if it was entirely gorssman who decided to go lon gon that last play, but its a terrible play call. we had plenty of time left, and could easily drive down the field.

Grossman definatly has the ability to be a great QB (rememeber hes still pretty much a rookie, this being his first full season) Most QBs don't start off as superstars. Give him some time. If we don't win the superbowl this year, oh well, but it seems foolish to pay for an established QB that might not be around that much longer. The Teams likes him, hes young, and has the ability, give him a break.

We are typical Chicago sports fans. Com'on guy's there 9-2, it could be 2-9. And who mentioned Griese, that just plain stupid. I liked Smith's comment, we don't listen to you guy's. Have you every known the Bears to have a first rate QB, OK maybe 1 or 2 in 50 years. And no, #9 (Jim)wasn't one of them. One of the guy's from ComCast said last year, the Bears are 2 years away from winning a superbowl, I think it was Hampton, and I think he's right, but I won't give up on them yet. I hate to compair them to the 85 team, but that was the benchmark set. I think the offence will be there in another year, if everyone can stay healthy. And yes, play calling sucks, remember this guy got fired from the UofI. Even though the D is ranked #1, they ain't no where near the 85 team. I think they need to fill a couple of key positions first, and need alot better pass rush. The NFL is wide open, and anyone could win, I can only hope. The Bears have had the same problem since papa Halas died, Mike McCaskey.

I have been a Bears fan since I was 12 years old and they have never; I repeat, NEVER had a quarterback with all star status. Think about it; Johnny Lujack, George Blanda, Billy Wade, Rudy Bukich, Bobby Douglas, Mike Tomsac; yeah; even Jim McMahon.
I'm beginning to think that there is a quarterback curse on the city of Chicago.
They don't seem to have the power to draft or trade for a "premier" quarterback.
Even if they would, you have to deal with Ron Turner as offensive coordinator. He could make a guy like Brett Favre look like an idiot.
But then, maybe I'm a bit too critical.
I only want what's best for the team.
