I just thought that I would pass this along.....the Illinois OSFM has created a new grant program for the purchase of equipment. Grants will be available for projects up to $26K. The guidelines and application look similar to the Revolving Truck Loan Program from a few years ago. The grant's deadline is March, 2007. Give me a call if you have any questions!
It is nice to see Illinois is finally taking notice that there is a need among our own fire departments. Good luck with the application!
