We have a member who is approx 22-25 weeks along in a pregnancy and she is still assigned as a line FF. Her duties include paramedic ambulance and full FF duties up to and including entering IDLH athmospheres.
At what point to depts usually adjust work assignments for pregnant members?
Does it seem irregular for a member 25 weeks along to still be doing the job?
The union is being told nothing can be done because alledgegly the Chief has a doctors note (date uncertain) saying she can still do the job. He says he needs to wait for a note saying she can't do the job.
