Just saw the thread, and was highly insulted by weruj1. I am also a FF in Cicero and we dont have our heads in the sand. Have been in dozens of fires with 349 cfd and he is an outstanding fireman. Not very cool to insult a department based on a simple question. If you wanr to knoe something about us before you throw out insults check out our web site.

Trust me, there are plenty of firefighters who have never heard of Goldfeder. Plenty of good firefighters at that. I have heard of him because of the internet and I am one to know about such things. You ask a typical Chicago-Area firefighter who Billy Goldfeder is and the answer would probably be "Who" ? It dosent make them bad firefighters. I am going to do a unscientific survey. Starting with my relief at 0700. It is now 0215 by the way and we havent been to bed yet. ...Only 11 runs but it sure seems like more.
