EMS, 911 still operating with interim managers

A decision on permanent managers for Columbia County's 911 and emergency management services is still a long way off, said County Manager Dale Williams.
Mary Kay Hollingsworth has served as interim 911 coordinator for about 10 weeks; Rusty Noah has run county EMS for about six weeks. Both said they would be happy to have the jobs permanently.
But, while he appreciates the work both have done, Williams said he is still studying issues surrounding the county's emergency services.
