Fire Hydrants Get Bright Orange Caps
Most of the city's fire hydrants are sporting new, bright orange caps that help make it easier for firefighters to hook up hoses in a hurry.
Fire Chief Lon Cheney bought 354 of the Hydra Storz adapters with part of a $79,020 grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Fire Administration.
