    Anything in your contract agreement?

other than the posted salary there is no contract agreement. ive been on admin leave for months. because there is pending litigation i cannot disclose the details here. but to answer your question. yes i am the only one. i may be the only one in the history of my department. he believes that because im considered a 40 hour employee that this is ok. i believe there is flsa laws preventing this, or so ive been informed, but i cannot locate them. i know there is specific language in surrounding departments mou's that spell this out so that there is no confusion. however to quote my chief in regards to mou's, policies, and sog's we dont really have much detailing expectations for either side of the fence because he likes "to be able to expand and contract at will".

I take it you are not a Federal Firefighter???

If you are not, than what you cite does not apply to you.

If you are, have fun battling congress
