On January 25th, the Manhattan Beach Firefighters in California, hosted the sendoff of the FireCareers- 9/11 Patch Project Bus. This national tour is about spreading awareness of the fact 10 years has almost gone by since the 9/11 tragedy, to recruit fire departments to wear on of the 9/11 Patches and to raise funds that will be donated in Manhattan (NY) at the end of the tour. The enlarged patches in the video, came off the 9/11 Rose Float that was featured in the Rose Parade on January 1st this year, in Pasadena. Jerry Thomsen of LACoFD and his wife Merrie made this happen. The NEVER FORGET torch was passed from Jerry to the Firecareers-9/11 Patch Bus in this ceremony.
