has anyone encountered the Hockey Puck style locks with the hardened steel casement. If your not sure what I mean check out this web site it has a picture of it. The casement is attached to the door, usally with carigage bolts and then the hockey puck lock slides onto the casement. Looking for different ideas if anybody has any.

This was discussed in one of the forums already, I just don't remember which one. Some of the NYC brothers that have run into these locks recommend using a rotary saw to cut through the middle of the lock. I wish I could remember where it was, because there were nice diagrams to go along with it.Real men wear kilts. www.forourfallen.org

Thanks Fireman4949, I knew about cutting where the pin lays, just wondering about the enclosure or box enclosure that we saw the other day. I emailed the brothers at FDNY and figured I post something on here to see if anyone had any further info. Leave it to FDNY, if there's a lock that's out there, they've figured it out which makes our job easier. Thanks again guys
