Try opening it in IE instead of Firefox... that made it work for me.

IIRC, Montgomery County DFRS has something like this for their USAR team. You might want to try and contact them to see how theirs work out and what different PODS they have.

How about a pod that will be enable an ATV or All terrain vehicle to be loaded on and carried to the scene.

I thought I was going to see the next best latest and greatest thing and all I get was a few pictures. Kind of a buzzkill.

    Very popular concept in Europe.

Pods include, tanker, LDH carrier, command units, specilaized rescue pods, haz-mat pods, modular firefighting pods, disaster response pods, etc. etc.

Really anything you want can be put on a pod and simply loaded when needed. Very practical concept.

I remember 10 or so years ago seeing a Los Angeles unit like this but w/ a much heavier chassis. They called it P.O.D. for Platform On Demand. Same idea, bigger and heavier scale. I thought it was interesting then, and probably still viable today

    Nice stuff

I saw you guys out at the fire chief’s convention in Duluth. What a neat concept. You can turn your Grass/Utility truck back into a Utility in under a minute, and then turn around and pick up another unit just as fast. How cool is that.

I have an Idea. What if you made one of your flatbeds into a hose rack that could fit all of my stations hose on it? Then when the [email protected] hits the fan at a large fire, you could pick up the entire supply of hose with the CTV and go to the scene with it. That would be really nice.

About three months ago I had to hand load our hose into our utility truck for a large fire, and it took me about five minutes, I made a huge knotted mess and I could only fit half of our hose. That CTV would have been really nice.

    Thank,
    Firemanlos

P.S. Let me know if I win that t-shirt.

    Tactical ideas wanted?

    Looking for feedback:

I am the manufacturer of a tactical truck with the ability to change out units or pods. This truck was developed with feedback taken from firefighters. Check out the web site: www.ctvfire.com. I am looking for additional ideas or tactical uses.
