  • Looking for a Video

I am hoping someone can hook me up with this. I am looking for the video where it shows a firefighter on a ladder getting ready to make a rescue, when the victim pretty much jumps and knocks both the FF and the victim to the ground. The FF falls head first I believe. I haven't been able to find it online, but I didn't know if any of my other instructors on here that teach ladders would have it. You can shoot me an email at [email protected] if you have it. Thanks

    Mike

Or the one where the little girl jumps and the fireman on a ladder reaches out and snags her from midair. That one is cool too.
I am a complacent liability to the fire service

      4th

One of the greatest grabs of all time. 35th and Cottage Grove. Firefighter Heenan. The same guy who helped rescue that old couple that accidently blew up their house in Garfield Ridge. He was off duty and along with the neighbors. (Mostly cops and firemen) and made a plywood shield to get to them through the fire. I believe the occupants died later in the hospital.

I saw the video of the FF catching the falling kid about 2 years ago, it was awesome. Would love to see it again if someone has a link.

Actually, I think I might be thinking of a different video. I seem to remember that the one I saw involved a boy. I'm not sure. It definately involved a ground ladder, and I think a balcony with a railing. Ring any bells for anyone?

I'm thinking it was a Boston fire, perhaps a hotel or flop house.

I have received a couple of video's from a brother in Tx, but if anyone has anymore I would love to add them to my class. I haven't seen the one with the little girl, but if someone finds it shoot it my way please.
