Police: Men Pose As Officers, Abduct Women

WASHINGTON -- Investigators with the Metropolitan Police Department want to know if two men, posing as officers, are behind three recent armed kidnappings, robberies and assaults.

The latest incident happened early Sunday morning in the 1300 block of K Street in Northwest. The others happened last Thursday in the 3000 block of M street Northwest and last Friday in the 1300 block of 4th street Northeast.
In two of the cases, the female victims were placed in the men's sport utility vehicle, robbed, driven around and sexually assaulted.
A 10,000 reward is offered in the case.

Members of the MPD/FBI Robbery Task Force are currently investigating a series of Armed Kidnapping cases in which the complainants were abducted at
gun point, handcuffed and robbed.
The suspect (s) is presenting themselves as “LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS” and is conducting traffic stops in a red-colored, SUV-type vehicle. FORD EXPEDITION, EDDIE BAUER EDITION after complying with the traffic stop, the complainants is abducted at gun point and removed from their vehicles. They are then placed in the suspect (s) vehicle and taken to another location.
During these offenses, the complainant’s credit cards were obtained and used at various ATM machines and gas stations in the DC Metropolitan Area. In two instances, one of the suspects touched and fondled the female victim in a sexually explicit manner.
The weapon(s) used are described as a black, semi automatic handgun, and silver handguns. During one case, the silver handguns were observed holstered on both suspect’s hips area.
The suspect(s) are described as two black males, 34-40 years of age, 5’8-6’0 in height, facial hair, and dark complexion with close cut hair styles. One male weighs approximately 190-200 lbs and the other is extremely large, weighing between 220-300 lbs.
Offense Date and locations are as follows:
October 26th at 0015 hrs, 3000 block of M St., NW
October 27th at 2105 hrs, 1345 4th St., NE
October 29th at 0115 hrs, 13th K St., NW
