Basically, overhaul is the process of searching for hidden fire. This is usually done by opening up walls, checking attic areas, things of that nature.

You beat me to it! I was going to ask if he meant "Overhaul"
Do it because you love it, not because you love being seen doing it.
I know I should of posted this in the JR firefighter/explorer section, but I figured I'd get more replys here.
So my question is( as the titles says): what is overhulling?
"Overhulling" is building a boat stronger than it has to be!
"The education of a firefighter and the continued education of a firefighter is what makes "real" firefighters. Continuous skill development is the core of progressive firefighting. We learn by doing and doing it again and again, both on the training ground and the fireground."
Lt. Ray McCormack, FDNY
I started to reply last night as soon as he posted the thread, had the dictionary definition for Overhaul all ready to paste LOL, a reference to boats, and a snappy come-back about his foray away from the Explorer's forums. Decided if I couldn't say anything nice that I wouldn't say it at all so didn't hit the submit button!
September 11th - Never Forget
I respect firefighters and emergency workers worldwide. Thank you for what you do.
Overhaulin' is a television show on TLC, where a team of car gurus, lead by designer Chip Foose, find creative ways to get a car's owner away from the car for a few days, and they take the car and... well... overhaul it.
Isn't that what happens when a witness in court tells more than what's asked? Something like "Tell the truth, the HULL truth an nothing but the truth?"
