We have 2 pumper-tankers. Both have 3000 gallon tanks.... one has a 500 gpm pump and the other has a 1250 gpm pump so we can classify it as a Class A engine.
Both carry full engine equipment including SCBA, spare bottles, 24' extension ladders and a roof ladder, hand tools, salvage covers, fans, K-12s, 3" supply line and attack line. Generally they are used as a tanker but can function as a first due engine if needed.
