Does anyone know of a place online that lists fire departments and the type of hose coupling thread they use?

No, But..................
If it helps, in Maryland, by law, only National Standard can be used. Except Storz. This law goes back quite a few years, and almost all hose that pre-dated this law is gone. The Forest Service uses NSPT on one inch line, because it is apparently needed to meet Federal Requirements for deployment nationwide.
The IAFC is developing a "Nationwide Mutual Aid Plan" type of thing, which I think is a Great idea, and a logical extension of this would be a requirement for standardizing hose and couplings. To add even more, should we be standardizing hose Size? I think so, and my preference is 1 inch for non-structural Firefighting, 2 inch for structural Firefighting, 3,4,and 5 inch for supply line. Why do we need odd sizes anyway?? I've used 1.75 and 2 inch attack line for years, and I prefer 2 inch for better Fire flow. The size is such that we have no problem at all advancing and working the line.Never use Force! Get a Bigger Hammer.
