Hmm, well I will say that I like the quartz light on the front of the cab. I tried a few times to convince our dept to do that, but they weren't having any of it. Is that a 12V model, or do you need to fire up the generator for it? I reckon the 12V model would be a lot more convenient to flip a switch in the cab for some instant lighting until you can get the generator going and the higher power lights raised. The 12V models these days pack a pretty good punch.

We have a brow light on our newest engine, Hydraulic generators work great for these, we also have switches inside the cab for quartz lights mounted at the rear corners of the cab, makes spotting house numbers easy as you can be going down the street, flip a switch and light up the neighborhood.
