I was at the Expo presentation. It is well worth taking time out to go too. It drives home the point that something like this can happen to anyone at anytime and you better have a plan. I know Joey D and never asked him what happened that day for fear it would cause more pain. It was a way for me to find out on his terms. I truly believe all the brothers involved with the presentation are selfless and courageous beyond belief. They are putting the fire service brotherhood above all else by reliving it each time it is presented and I thank them for it. As for the web cast being removed I think it has to do with on going litigation.

I was there. It was long, but I didn't realize that until it was over and I looked at my watch! Gripping and intense - I would highly recommend.

I strongly encourage you to go. You will learn alot. Listening to the live audio of the radio traffic from that day, just made the hair on my neck stand up. Where is the lecture being given and when??? I am in NC and if it is close I would love to catch it!

If memory serves me correctly, FH pulled the video segments of the presentation at the FDNY presenters request. I was fortunate enough to see the clips before that on FH and I must say that it is something that I will never forget. RIP Lt Meyran and FF Bellew.

If you type "Black Sunday" into the search feature you will get a list with some related (and some not related) threads. Near the middle to bottom of the page there are a few threads where Black Sunday was discussed that you might want to take a look at.
Be aware that there was some rather "heated" discussion.
Sorry, I don't remember exactly which thread discussed the presentation.Last edited by RspctFrmCalgary; 09-16-2006, 09:00 AM.

Black Sunday Presentation
Did anyone on the forums happen to catch a program at the firehouse expo entitled Black Sunday: A Survivor Speaks? It is being given very close to where I live by FDNY Lieutenant Joseph DiBernardo and I was wondering what everyones thoughts were on it?
