We bought an E-One pumper with the five man cab. It has the same motor, 1500 gpm top mount pump and 1000 gallons of water. The chassis and truck have performed great. Turns tight, plenty of power and drives very nice. Absolutly no complaints from anyone on the department.

We have the M2 with the same mercedes engine. It handles extremely well and turns just as tight as a custom cab. We liked the stock options that came in the Liberty series. We have no complaints from the actual chassis itself, but then again we only took delivery in March. If you have any more questions just email me:

We have a pair of newer M2's, and we have had some intermittent nuisance problems with both, but overall there are no huge problems.
On our 04 Engine (300hp Mercedes), we have a series of intermittent warning lights, that have been undiagnosable to date. It hasn't shut us down, and the light usually clear after we get rolling, but a little frustrating.
That truck is a very good handler, and plenty powerful. It weighs in at about 28,000 lbs fully loaded.
The other is an 05 TELESQURT, with the same 300hp engine, and while that truck has not been as big a problem yet, it has given us a couple of weird warning lights too. It gets it 1 year service next month, so we'll see what comes up.
It is a heavy one as well at over 40,000lbs loaded, and is a little sluggish in our mountain environment. It does still handle very well though.Never argue with an Idiot. They drag you down to their level, and then beat you with experience!
