    In the meantime ...

Have you seen these other threads, Tann? Here is a list you might find interesting:

    http://forums.firehouse.com/search.php?searchid=151175

There are all sorts of threads about dogs and other pets, not all are about dogs in firehouses though .... check out "Is your dog a whoose" for a chuckle, Dog Names was a good one too!

Fire House Dogs was a good one:

    http://forums.firehouse.com/showthre...ght=dalmations

Whoops another one called Fire House Dogs LOL:

    http://forums.firehouse.com/showthre...ght=dalmations

    Why Dalmations? was interesting ...

    http://forums.firehouse.com/showthre...ght=dalmations

If you're a pet lover, that search should keep you occupied for some time LOL.

They are older though, so maybe some newer members will still reply here.

    Have fun!

One of our senior firefighters had two dalmations and they were considered the department mascots. We used them at the schools and our open houses. They passed away last year and are not being replaced. Unfortunately, we now have a firefighter that is allergic to dogs. No dogs allowed at any station.

    Here's our Dalmation

A local boy scout troop found the concrete statue, and they painted it, then had our patch emblem made into a collar tag for it. Works great since we aren't a 24/7 staffed department and no one is there everyday to take care of the pup

started a topic Dalmatians in the hall?

    Dalmatians in the hall?

Seen a post about traditions and seen something in there about dalmatians.

I was just wondering how many people here had dalmatians in there halls? We use to but the last one got dog napped and the dog we got now is a mut and is now around 14 years old.

    Just wondering.
