The International Association of Fire Chiefs Foundation is a great source for a scholarship -- your daughter would need to be in a fire dept., though. Your post doesn't say whether she is or not. I do know that one doesn't have to be a fire science major. I received scholarships while an undergrad (fire science) and grad (political science).

To obtain scholarship application forms or to make a tax-deductible donation go to the foundation's Web site at www.iafc.org or write to: International Association of Fire Chiefs' Foundation, c/o Sue Hawkins, executive director, P.O. Box 1818, Windermere, Fla., 34786; e-mail [email protected].
