            For Cheffie.

            Bay Oysters.

1 dozen 1/2 shell pacific oysters.(Or as many as you need )
            finely chopped onion.
            finely chopped smoked bacon.
            Good quality Soy Sauce.

BBQ onion and bacon until bacon pieces are crisp, and onion is clear.
            Sprinkle over 1/2 shell oysters.
lightly drizzle soy sauce over oysters.

BBQ oysters in shell for no more than 4 minutes, or until soy sauce just starts to bubble.

            Serve immediatley.

Best match is on a hot day served with COLD Lager Ale.

            Congrats on 1000 posts.

Hot dogs with Grey Poupon mustard, and Tater Tots. Reddish jello lookin' stuff for dessert. (The "gourmet" mustard's to jazz it up a bit.) How's THAT for a celebratory dinner?

                    Fella's??

                    Gonzo? Kiwi? Weruj?

Cheffie deserves a better celebratory meal than that!

I will offer her a "Red Sox Pot Roast Dinner", simmered in Guinness, with a nice Merlot (I have a bottle of an exquisite Williamsburg Winery Merlot 1997 vintage in the rack) and New England bread pudding for dessert!

I just saw this thread. I am so touched. I will have to catch up on the threads this weekend in between my next two assignments.

Hot dogs with Grey Poupon mustard, and Tater Tots. Reddish jello lookin' stuff for dessert. (The "gourmet" mustard's to jazz it up a bit.) How's THAT for a celebratory dinner?
Steamer, Hmmmm. Lad, we need to have a talk about your eating habits. When are you coming to SF? (Winchester is invited too!)

Thank you so much everyone. I may have hit the 1000 mark, but the journey has been and continues to be incredible and awesome. I cannot even think of how many 1000's of posts I have read. You have all taught me so much and mean so much to me, so much more than I can express in words.

                              Capt Gonzo-

                              Kiwi- Yummmm

Rev- Burgers? I think I should add you to that discussion I need to have with Steamer. I really need to whip up something outstanding to celebrate the 1000 mark.

Take care and stay safe all.
