I'm sure this will stir a bit on controversy but here goes.
What, if any, policies does your Volley dept, have on prescription medications? For an example, a member on RX meds for an injury, Or a cold. Do you have a diference between Darvon, percocet, vicoden, Oxycontin, or Robitussin and Contac? If your cleared for your regular job by your MD, are you good to go on response?
For example, Joe works down at the factory, is injured on the job, is released back to work with a bottle of percocets. He drives to work, works his shift etc.... When the tones go off, can/should he be able to respond?
Just curious how departments handle this.
Thanks,
