HOW MANY DEPARTMENTS TRY TO USE A CONTROL TIME FOR FIREFIGHTERS TO BE IN A STRUCTURE FIRE BEFORE THEY ARE PULLED OUT OF THE STRUCTURE

if you are talking about how long to engage in an interior attack, there are way to many factors to consider for the decision to pull out. everything from building construction to the "gut" will be a factor. if you are talking about how long does someone work before they get a break, that too depends on climate conditions, level of exertion, available resources for replacing them, and how much longer are we going to be working. much of the "art" of firefighting is too flexible to put an arbitrary time limit in place.
