I was wondering about the NFPA Goggles from those who wear them. Likes, dislikes, what brand you wear and your helmet type. I'd also like to hear from those who once wore goggles and switched back to the faceshield or bourkes and why. I'm currently looking into goggles as a means of eye protection. Thanks

We have the helmet mounted goggles, in addition to a face shield.
Pro: You have them with you all the time
They are quick to don or remove.
Con: You cannot lower the shield with them on your helmet
I can't seem to get them as tight on my face as seperate goggles.
So, I end up carrying them off my helmet, in my gear bag.
Most of the time I end up either in SCBA (Shield) or lowering the Shield when needed.
Your results may vary. -

Had them, ditched them. When I would start too sweat it would get on the lens and distort my vision. I use safty glasses and my new helmet will have bourkes on it. Until then, I am stuck in a 660.No longer an explorer, but I didn't wanna lose my posts.
