From KPHO.com
Four Phoenix firefighters are home recovering after their ladder truck lost control and flipped on its side near Central and Indian School Road in Phoenix.
All were rushed to a nearby hosptal with an assortment of bumps and bruises, but none of the injuries was serious.
Investigators wasted no time trying to figure out what happened.
CBS-5 News has learned the accident appears to have been caused by mechanical failure forcing the driver to lose control, and tip the 7 ton truck on it's side.

Interesting...
I remember recent criticism of the PFD by some members of this board for their strict policies requiring all members to wear seat belts while responding, and the removal of SCBA's from the cab to make sure people followed the rules. News reports indicate all members were seat-belted in the cab, and all suffered only minor injuries and will soon be back to work.
Seems to me this is a pretty clear indication that their policy is paying dividends, and lives are being saved. Bravo PFD.Comment
