I work with a program (not affiliated with the Fire Department) that provides FREE and CONFIDENTIAL counseling for firefighters who helped in the 9/11 rescue and recovery efforts. I've been trying to reach out to New York City area firefighters to let them know that this program is in place, if they ever feel that they would benefit from it. Unfortunately, I've run into some difficulty in 'spreading the word.'
Can you think of any way that we may be able to make this program more available to firefighters in the area? Any advice would help a great deal.
