looking for old boots

I doubt they will be easy to find anymore. Not much of a market for 'em. I would think that with some detective work you would be able to find someone who has some to unload. Good luck.

Try Ebay...when I was buying stuff over there I remember seeing dozens of those "thigh-high" StormKing boots going for a little of nothing unless your looking to buy brand new but yet Ive even seen brand new ones there...At the time I wasnt buying those becuase my Dept doesnt use them.

A couple other places to look...

If there is a SPAAMFA Chapter near you see when/if they are holding a muster, there are generally numerous flea market type vendors selling anything you can think of for antique fire trucks. Also Check to see if the Chicago Fire Dept. has auctions of old equipment. I know FDNY used to send out announcements when they were auctioning off stuff and Chicago is probably one of very few departments still using "day" boots these days.
