Class "A" at a graduation ???

One of my best friends will graduate from the academy (a different Dept.) tomorrow......another friend (from yet another Dept.) has stated that he will be attending the graduation in his class "A" uniform.

So....My question is, Brothers & Sisters,:

Would you wear your class "A" uniform for this function?

When I attended my best friend and his brother's graduation from Hartford's Academy, there were many people there in Class "A" uniforms.

Does your Class "A" uniform have a jacket?

As a guest to the graduation I would wear you class A. Jacket, tie, Hat the whole costume. Most graduations I have gone to the fire service guests wear class A as well as the presenters. The class is made up of new guys that most often don't have class A's and wear a class B with hat and tie.

Yes,I have a hat and jacket.

......The bad news:
I have to drive 25 miles west (brass in locker at work)
............Then 125 miles east to the graduation!!!!
And I have 4 hrs. to do it!!!

If you don't want to make the trip, then just dress nicely. You can go the shirt and tie route or wear khakis and a polo shirt.

Hey Explorer, when you grow up you'll understand what it means to put that uniform on. What our Brothers & Sisters have sacrificed to give that uniform and this profession it's meaning.
